Douglas Griffioen, CIM®, MBA, CPA, CMA, FCSI®

Douglas Griffioen is a co-founder of Wisdom Private Wealth and a Portfolio Manager. He is a graduate of York University in Toronto as well as Nijenrode Business School in the Netherlands. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Investment Manager who has worked in finance for over 20 years. Douglas creates customized wealth management solutions for families and business owners using a unique, client-focused and solution-oriented process. Douglas is an entrepreneurial thinker who is analytical and research-driven, and he applies this mindset in his approach to investment advice. He has been interviewed for a number of investment periodicals and radio podcasts, and enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in this format.

A longtime resident of the Kitchener-Waterloo area, Douglas volunteers as Chair of the Financial Assistance Committee of Laurentian Hills Christian School. He has volunteered with Junior Achievement in KW, teaching their ‘Dollars and Sense’ course to Grade 8 students. Douglas and his wife, Claire, have three adult children. In his down time, Douglas is an active hockey player and motorcyclist who loves to travel.
