Matt Strauss

Matt Strauss earned a BA in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2003 before receiving a diploma in Financial Planning from the same institution in 2004. He has worked in the financial services industry ever since. Matt focuses on risk management and believes the foundation of any financial plan is protecting your greatest assets; you, your business and your family. Matt works with clients to review their current insurance while helping them identify their short and long-term needs for the future. This may involve protecting an individual’s ability to earn income, or minimizing estate and other costs on the family in the event of the loss of a family member.

Matt was born and raised in Kitchener and continues to reside here with his wife, April, and their two children. He is a volunteer coach with both Kitchener Minor Hockey and the Kitchener Soccer Association. In his time away from the office, Matt enjoys playing hockey and golf.
